Welcome to my Pilates classes. 







As an instructor, well into my 50's, I really enjoy working with individuals to help improve their health and wellbeing. As we age Pilates is a great way to make improvements to your physical fitness.

For this, thanks must go to Joseph Pilates who, all those years ago, really thought about the purpose and benefit of each of the exercises. If practiced correctly, Pilates can dramatically improve your overall body strength, mobility around joints and help to correct any postural issues. But perhaps the greatest thing Pilates brings is the improvement of your quality of life. Being strong enough to get on and do all those activities you enjoy. Having the ability to get in and out of that kayak easily, scramble over rocks on the beach or play with your grandchildren down on the ground. 


As an instructor, I really try to keep client-focused. It's important to me that my classes fit with what people really need. More now than ever our health and well-being is extremely important.

In addition to my qualifications, I strive to keep abreast of current thinking via continual professional development and aim to deliver my knowledge in an enjoyable and effective way. 


I really welcome individuals who perhaps haven't exercised for a while to come to my classes and just give it a go. My classes aren't about being the fittest or most 'streamlined' person there. What's important, whatever your age, experience, or ability is just getting started and making progress over time. It's really rewarding to see improvements being made, friendships being forged and people having a better lifestyle as a result. 

I hope you will choose me as your Pilates instructor where relationships really count.
